The people around 15-22 in this hobby get too much hate. We get it, you’re thirty, have a family, and have like 200 bjds. Just because we’re young doesn’t mean we’re dumb. No, my parents do not buy the dolls for me. You call my dolls unoriginal while you’re sitting there with 5 boy lolitas, all looking exactly the same. I work hard to even be in this hobby and I’m not going to be bullied out by such a pretentious elitist.
Okay, I don’t even get the stigma of having your parent buy dolls for you. Laptops, cell phones, gaming consoles, luxury handbags, pretty dresses, cars, school fees — is there a difference?
They’re all well-intentioned gifts; things that you don’t need to survive, but are very much appreciated, nevertheless. I get why it can be a touchy topic, but just because one got a doll given to them doesn’t mean that they should be shamed for it. Why is it so hard to appreciate others’ good fortune? So they were lucky, big deal.
My dolls were all gifts from my parents and I’m don’t care who knows.
